Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Emanuel Mel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Delmar Lazcano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Mingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Arano having to interfere. In the 13th play minute Anibal Mingo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Modesto Arano. 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Emanuel Mel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaqüé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Mel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaqüé's Modesto Arano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Jaqüé from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Anibal Mingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Jaqüé getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Geronimo Estefan hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes Pailemán got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Lalla. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Emanuel Mel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaqüé's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Mel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Lazcano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Anibal Mingo made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Arano. Jaqüé's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Garaile during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pailemán booed when Jaqüé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Garaile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anibal Mingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anibal Mingo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 38 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Modesto Arano was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Modesto Arano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Bastia in the 40th minute of play. Pailemán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florentino Urtun in the 42nd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Jaqüé's goalie and right to Cristian Manni. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Jaqüé's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Ermegildo Bastia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 52nd minute Anibal Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Arano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Mingo scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Arano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaqüé's Modesto Arano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Bastia in the 57th minute of play. Anibal Mingo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Arano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Mingo in the 64th minute of play. Anibal Mingo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Arano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Modesto Arano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Mingo in the 68th minute of the match. Fabricio Ireno's late challenge caught a Pailemán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Ireno helped the player get up and apologised. Fabricio Ireno hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ermegildo Bastia got in the 79th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Modesto Arano handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 3-1 became the score in the 83rd minute when Joel Orlandus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Jaqüé's zone, Ermegildo Bastia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Arano came out of the goal and Ermegildo Bastia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Fabricio Ireno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Pailemán's Florentino Urtun tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jaqüé's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
