Fausto Toro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Piorno in the 3rd minute of the match. Fausto Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Piorno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Malvinas's zone, Andres Jerano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Jenaro came out of the goal and Andres Jerano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lojloj's Fausto Toro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Piorno in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Andres Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Jenaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Leonardo Lohitzun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Antonio Jenaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antonio Jenaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Lohitzun, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Malvinas's Antonio Jenaro got control of the ball when Leonardo Lohitzun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Leopoldo Piorno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopoldo Piorno might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Toro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leopoldo Piorno ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Jerano to make the kick off. Paulo Clis charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Clis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnulfo Hernandez hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Andres Jerano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Toro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Piorno's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Leonardo Lohitzun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Jenaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Rodrigo Videl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Fausto Toro made a huge save. A collision led to Lojloj getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Albino Naldo hit a great ball. Rodrigo Videl's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Fausto Toro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arnulfo Hernandez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fausto Toro. Lojloj's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Andres Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Lohitzun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Jenaro having to interfere. When Gervasio Ponc fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malvinas's protests and gave Gervasio Ponc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, Malvinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Ponc to maneuver through the defense. Lojloj's Fausto Toro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Lojloj from getting a goal against them. Lojloj were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Malvinas for a fine match.
