Herminio Bastian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Egoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Bastian's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Silvestre Hanni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliciano Salbatore went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Wilfredo Osmundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leleque AFC's Delmiro Egoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Osmundo in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Leleque AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Javier Chumo hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Emiliano Gonsalve dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvestre Hanni, 2-0. Feliciano Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Hanni having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, Ayacucho's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Salbatore came free, but Silvestre Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Salbatore in the 55th minute of play forced Ayacucho's goalkeeper Silvestre Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliciano Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Hanni having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Osmundo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Delmiro Egoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Javier Chumo charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javier Chumo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Leleque AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Javier Chumo hit a great ball. Wilfredo Osmundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Delmiro Egoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Herminio Bastian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Delmiro Egoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Ayacucho defense, Emiliano Gonsalve kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Hanni. The Ayacucho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Hanni should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ayacucho's goalkeeper Silvestre Hanni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Herminio Bastian dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Delmiro Egoi, 4-3. When Justino Blai fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leleque AFC's protests and gave Justino Blai a yellow card for diving instead. Justino Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Jeronimo Giro in the 99th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Delmiro Egoi's left hand side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
