Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnoldo Diaz kicked off to start the match. Silvestre Hanni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisito Lorien's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Herminio Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jimeno Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Hanni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Jesco went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Luisito Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Ayacucho's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Diaz came free, but Silvestre Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Cochequingam's Arnoldo Diaz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvestre Hanni was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Wilfredo Osmundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ayacucho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Silvestre Hanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Lorien in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
In the 54th minute Herminio Bastian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Gaztea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cochequingam's Jimeno Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Bastian in the 56th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Arnoldo Diaz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bonifacio Camerino hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Hanni having to interfere. Jeronimo Giro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Luisito Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvestre Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Diaz in the 77th minute of the match. Cochequingam's Jimeno Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Bastian in the 78th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cochequingam's Arnoldo Diaz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvestre Hanni. That made the score 2-3 after 86 minutes of play. Cochequingam's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
