Denis Faron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Nesor having to interfere. In the 8th minute Denis Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Nesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Quines's Angelino Solustiano in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Delgado FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Quines booed when Delgado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Tipi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Denis Faron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anastasio Nesor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Solustiano in the 19th minute of play forced Delgado FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quines's Denis Faron got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delgado FC's Anastasio Nesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Faron in the 25th minute of play. If Damian Clodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Abascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Clodio in the 31st minute of play. If Angelino Solustiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Faron in the 37th minute of play forced Delgado FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Denis Faron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Osoitz's late challenge caught a Delgado FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Osoitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Quines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Osoitz to maneuver through the defense. Damian Clodio struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Cosme Abascal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delgado FC. Anastasio Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Solustiano in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Quines were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Faron to strike the kick off in the second half. Cosme Abascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Lesardo in the 52nd minute of the match. Anastasio Nesor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Solustiano in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Faron in the 57th minute of play forced Delgado FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Delgado FC's protests and gave Evaristo Tipi a yellow card for diving instead. Cristo Lesardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosme Abascal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Denis Faron struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Anastasio Nesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quines. In the 80th minute, Dante Frechoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quines's Angelino Solustiano got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Delgado FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Julian Pinto hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, one of Delgado FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Quines eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
