After having played for 23 minutes, Fabian Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Domínguez AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Claus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Barrancas FC's Esteban Niva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nunez Bartoli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nunez Bartoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Bastiaro in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Norberto Mancio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrancas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Domínguez AFC the free kick. In the 29th minute, one of Barrancas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barrancas FC. In the 36th minute of the match Paolo Menendo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingo Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 36 minutes, Damaso Chago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrancas FC and the Domínguez AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Anacleto Gelacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Barrancas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Claus came free, but Domingo Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Damaso Chago was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. Damaso Chago hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Claus in the 48th minute of play forced Barrancas FC's goalkeeper Domingo Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Fabian Claus made the kick off in the second half. Norberto Mancio was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Albino Bastiaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrancas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Bastiaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Bartoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Carmelo Hibai fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrancas FC's protests and gave Carmelo Hibai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Barrancas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Hibai to maneuver through the defense.
