Geronimo Matia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Errapel having to interfere. Aquiles Su sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aquiles Su received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alonzo Lorien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Jeremias Belarmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anzulón and the Cortadera FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Matia got free with Nicasio Errapel in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicasio Errapel made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Geronimo Matia sent off a good shot on target. If Aquiles Su had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Geronimo Matia could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Nicasio Errapel however easily saved by the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Cortadera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Su came free, but Alonzo Lorien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Anzulón booed when Cortadera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Valentine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anzulón were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Cortadera FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacobo Txurio took the corner. The corner led Anzulón's Jacobo Txurio to fire away a dangerous shot which Alonzo Lorien despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Su to make the kick off. Alonzo Lorien came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Anzulón's Jimeno Eguntsenti. But to his dismay, Jimeno Eguntsenti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Cortadera FC booed when Anzulón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pablo Hermon during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cortadera FC's Pablo Hermon got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd match minute, Anzulón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Su to maneuver through the defense. Nicasio Errapel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Hermon's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Anzulón's Norberto Ioritz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alonzo Lorien but with some difficulty. After 80 minutes, Geronimo Matia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cortadera FC and the Anzulón players grew even worse after the yellow card.
