Raimundo Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Filomeno Quilino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Lorencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Pujol's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Pacorro came free, but Mario Ondino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Raimundo Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Lorencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gaudencio Lorencio took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Ondino. After 24 played minutes, Escriña's Cornelio Enetz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mario Ondino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Escriña reached it. Raimundo Ponce who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Filomeno Quilino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 34th minute of the match, Urbano Perfecto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filomeno Quilino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Escriña's Filomeno Quilino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Escriña from getting a goal against them. Artemio Pacorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Ondino having to interfere. If Alonzo Ignazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pujol booed when Escriña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Escriña getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Basilio Beltza hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Escriña:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pujol:s goal. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Pujol. Santo Berart stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filomeno Quilino. 1-1. When Basilio Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pujol's protests and gave Basilio Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pujol getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Basilio Cruz hit a great ball. When Raimundo Ponce came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Pujol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Ponce couldn't finish the play.
