If Tobias Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Eskuin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Argoitz having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Segundo Manex got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Recreo AFC booed when Pontaut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Mantzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Eskuin in the 26th minute of play forced Pontaut's goalkeeper Eriberto Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Ovando in the 35th minute of play forced Recreo AFC's goalkeeper Jacobo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Isaac Eskuin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Silvano Berdaitz came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Recreo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Berdaitz couldn't finish the play. Eriberto Argoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Berdaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ambrosio Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pontaut's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Selmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Eskuin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Pontaut getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gerardo Fagildo hit a great ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Silvano Berdaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recreo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Berdaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Recreo AFC's Angel Gagriel got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pontaut's zone, Isaac Eskuin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Argoitz came out of the goal and Isaac Eskuin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvano Berdaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Eriberto Argoitz made a huge save. Jacobo Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Ovando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Recreo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Selmo came free, but Jacobo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Ovando in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rene Ovando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match, Isaac Eskuin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eriberto Argoitz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
