Jaime Selatses short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Benjamin Bikendi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 9 minutes into the match, Menucos FC's Isaac Mikeldi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin Bikendi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 10 minutes, Eloy Tab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranquil AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Tab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Mikeldi in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Bikendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Isaac Mikeldi sped through Ranquil AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Bikendi. Tomas Guillelme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ranquil AFC's Eloy Tab got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jaime Selatse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ranquil AFC's Tomas Guillelme in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Mikeldi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 95th minute, Tomas Guillelme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Menucos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
