In the 44th minute, Sixto Leoiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herminio Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Guayacó FC's Amancio Francho threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcial Maura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Guayacó FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Hotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcial Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guayacó FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
