Tolombón AFC's Hugo Rubio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Tolombón AFC from getting a goal against them. Encina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Liberto in the 9th minute. The corner led Encina's Sebastian Liberto to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Rubio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leonel Bernad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Domenec in the 12th minute of play. When Celedonio Martxelin fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Encina's protests and gave Celedonio Martxelin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Encina getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Celedonio Martxelin hit a great ball. Pastor Cutberto's late challenge caught a Encina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Cutberto helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Tolombón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Cutberto. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Romeo Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tolombón AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Hegoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Bernad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Domenec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Romeo Hegoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Encina's zone, Romeo Hegoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Bernad came out of the goal and Romeo Hegoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermengildo Macerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes, Severino Clemencin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Encina and the Tolombón AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Severino Clemencin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Severino Clemencin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. Severino Clemencin hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Tolombón AFC's Romeo Hegoi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Romeo Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Poz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Nicasio Confesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Encina's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Hegoi came free, but Leonel Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Martxelin struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Hugo Rubio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Encina. Gonzalo Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Bernad having to interfere. The supporters of Tolombón AFC booed when Encina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Macerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Leonel Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Celedonio Martxelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Romeo Hegoi could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Leonel Bernad however easily saved by the left post. Gonzalo Domenec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Bernad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Leonel Bernad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Domenec in the 84th minute of play. Celedonio Martxelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Rubio having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Hegoi got free with Leonel Bernad in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
