Figueroa FC's Everardo Silban got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Galoer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Balesio went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Elpidio Costante was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Cabred's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Severino Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Joachim having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Costante in the 25th minute of play forced Figueroa FC's goalkeeper Paulino Galoer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Ovando in the 30th minute of play forced Cabred's goalkeeper Cosme Joachim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Elpidio Costante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulino Galoer, 2-0. Elpidio Costante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Figueroa FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Dario Emesto hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Ovando to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Ovando got free with Cosme Joachim in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 55 minutes, Severino Ovando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Figueroa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Ovando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Balesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Paulino Galoer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Joachim having to interfere. Cabred's Cosme Joachim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Ovando in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Elpidio Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabred's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Costante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Galoer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rolando Balesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Costante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Silban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Cosme Joachim made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Severino Ovando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Joachim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Elpidio Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Figueroa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Costante came free, but Paulino Galoer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Costante might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulino Galoer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Costante ran back to his position shaking his head.
