In the 17th minute, Leonides Tome got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hoyón AFC's zone, Leonides Tome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Muno came out of the goal and Leonides Tome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonides Tome in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Muno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcial Muno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Tome, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ruperto Rexino hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Quiroga's Jorge Loren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Quiroga from getting a goal against them. When Leonides Tome came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Quiroga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Tome couldn't finish the play. The referee showed Ivan Haritzeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivan Haritzeder hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Marcial Muno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Tome, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Teodor to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Eliseo Estebe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hoyón AFC's Marcial Muno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonides Tome struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Marcial Muno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quiroga. 69 minutes into the match, Quiroga's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Felo came free, but Jorge Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Batista in the 73rd minute of the match. Amancio Filipo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Saverio Formerio hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Leonides Tome left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quiroga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Eliseo Estebe came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Quiroga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Estebe couldn't finish the play. Maximo Teodor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jorge Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quiroga had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
