With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Erasto in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Eskuin saved Yucumanita AFC from getting behind. When Ricardo Errando came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Yucumanita AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Errando couldn't finish the play. Amadeo Eskuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Ourente in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Calderón's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonathan Admon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ricardo Errando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Ovando having to interfere. Benedicto Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Amadeo Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Admon in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Ovando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Errando struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jorge Ovando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yucumanita AFC. Angel Sergi hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, Calderón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Loco to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Admon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, one of Yucumanita AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Angel Sergi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Errando in the 61st minute of play forced Calderón's goalkeeper Jorge Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Angel Sergi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yucumanita AFC's Amadeo Eskuin didn't even have to move. Artemio Erasto struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Amadeo Eskuin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calderón. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Benedicto Ourente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calderón's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Ourente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Eskuin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Calderón booed when Yucumanita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Admon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ricardo Errando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
