Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arturo Erasto made the kick off and thus started the match. Manuel Barto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Vicente Refugio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Omar Estevon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranelagh's Vicente Refugio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vicente Refugio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niceto Dunixi went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Omar Estevon took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Refugio. Vicente Refugio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Manuel Barto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Barto. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Omar Estevon put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente Refugio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Estevon in the 40th minute of play forced Ranelagh's goalkeeper Vicente Refugio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Estevon made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Ponc in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Refugio saved Ranelagh from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Ponc got free with Vicente Refugio in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Refugio made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Manuel Barto sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Refugio having to interfere. Arturo Erasto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosme Godoy having to make a save. 67 minutes into the game, Celta de Vigo's Arnoldo Ponc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Refugio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosme Dino in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Godoy saved Celta de Vigo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Celta de Vigo's Marco Olayo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Manuel Barto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celta de Vigo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Barto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Dino in the 89th minute of play forced Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Cosme Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes, Esteban Opilano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celta de Vigo and the Ranelagh players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Alonzo Benvido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ranelagh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6.
