When Primitivo Oton came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Ayui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Oton couldn't finish the play. After 5 minutes, Ciriaco Lidon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ovara FC and the Ayui players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Ovara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Lidon to maneuver through the defense. When Anier Markel got free in front of the goal in the 6th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Albino Macerio was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Anier Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ovara FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ciriaco Lidon hit a great ball. Primitivo Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Albino Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Markel in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Ayui's Anier Markel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albino Macerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luisito Bihar's late challenge caught a Ayui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisito Bihar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ovara FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Luisito Bihar hit a great ball. Omar Madeo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Rojelio's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Anier Markel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Macerio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Oton in the 35th minute of play forced Ovara FC's goalkeeper Albino Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anier Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Omar Madeo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Rojelio in the 40th minute of play. Anier Markel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Albino Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zeledon Rojelio came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ovara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Rojelio couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anier Markel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Denis Olando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayui and the Ovara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Ovara FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Abecia. Omar Madeo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Rojelio in the 60th minute of play. Omar Madeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Dayam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Ovara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Markel came free, but Albino Macerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Anier Markel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ovara FC's Albino Macerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Dayam struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Omar Madeo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ovara FC. Primitivo Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Primitivo Oton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albino Macerio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Omar Madeo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Rojelio in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, Ovara FC's Albino Macerio got control of the ball when Anier Markel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Ayui's Primitivo Oton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albino Macerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Zeledon Rojelio put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Omar Madeo. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ovara FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ayui for much of the match.
