In the 27th minute, Faustino Innocenzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Macachín FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Freddy Elodio hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Leonardo Maule notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Macachín FC's Generoso Lamberto. Generoso Lamberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes in the game, Camilo Guillen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Saul Ellande having to interfere. After the first half Uturungo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Romo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Leonardo Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Macachín FC's Freddy Elodio got a free kick in the 55th minute. Generoso Lamberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Romo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Faustino Innocenzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pascual Lehoi fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uturungo FC's protests and gave Pascual Lehoi a yellow card for diving instead. Saul Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Guillen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Lamberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Romo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Camilo Guillen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Ellande having to interfere. Macachín FC's Faustino Innocenzio got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severino Furman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Uturungo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Innocenzio came free, but Saul Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Innocenzio took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saul Ellande. Saul Ellande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
