The supporters of Lescanos booed when Pehuelches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Fernado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Manuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Gitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Manuelo made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Gerardo Gitano sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, Gerardo Gitano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lisandro Manuelo. Gerardo Gitano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gerardo Gitano sped through Pehuelches's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lisandro Manuelo. After a rather tough play, Lescanos's Leo Ariando got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinicio Eguzki was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pehuelches's Feliberto Joey got a free kick in the 53rd minute.
