Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eulalio Astigar got the match started through his kick off. Mateo Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Desiderio Peyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silverio Curcio during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 9 minutes into the game, Carranza's Ruy Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Abeita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Desiderio Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Astigar in the 15th minute of play. Ramon Palban kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Monterrey Titanes's Eulalio Astigar made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Desiderio Peyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 21 played minutes Carranza got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Tauro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruy Neves during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Ruy Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eulalio Astigar came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Monterrey Titanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Astigar couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Mateo Boni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Desiderio Peyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carranza's Jacobo Romildo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carranza's Desiderio Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Astigar in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Carranza got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Palban. In the 42nd minute, Eulalio Astigar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes of play, Monterrey Titanes's Eulalio Astigar made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Desiderio Peyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ruy Neves made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Carranza's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Astigar came free, but Desiderio Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Carranza's Desiderio Peyo got control of the ball when Eulalio Astigar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erasmo Erroman kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Valdemaras Liaudanskas's late challenge caught a Monterrey Titanes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemaras Liaudanskas helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Carranza got a freekick which was hit by Valdemaras Liaudanskas. After having played for 61 minutes, Jacobo Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carranza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Romildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Desiderio Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Dalmu in the 64th minute of play. Ramon Palban was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Carranza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monterrey Titanes:s goal. The goalkeeper, Desiderio Peyo, was totally fooled by Monterrey Titanes's Eulalio Astigar, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Eulalio Astigar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Desiderio Peyo. That made the score 1-6 in the 73 minute of play. Atilano Mantzio, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Carranza's Desiderio Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Astigar in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute Baltasar Dalmu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carranza's Desiderio Peyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Carranza from getting a goal against them. Desiderio Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Astigar in the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jacobo Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carranza's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Romildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Abeita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the match, Atilano Mantzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desiderio Peyo. Carranza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilano Mantzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Monterrey Titanes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
