An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Astigar in the 10th minute of play forced juarez's goalkeeper Ildefonso Karmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Erdiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monterrey Titanes's Fausto Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Videl in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Natalio Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. juarez's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Abaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Abeita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Monterrey Titanes getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Felipe Beremundo hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Higinio Videl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. juarez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Videl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Higinio Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Bernardino Perrando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. juarez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monterrey Titanes the free kick. After 32 played minutes juarez got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Perrando. In the 40th match minute, Monterrey Titanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Erdiano to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Baltasar Dalmu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monterrey Titanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Dalmu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eulalio Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Abaurre was the one to do the kick off. juarez's Higinio Videl got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ildefonso Karmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Mantzio in the 56th minute of the match. Ildefonso Karmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Astigar, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ildefonso Karmel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Mantzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes, Atilano Mantzio made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. juarez's Ildefonso Karmel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Natalio Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fausto Abeita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Natalio Abaurre got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. There was no doubt that Monterrey Titanes were the better team. Monterrey Titanes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
