Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rayos GDL's Serafino Gergori started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rayos GDL's goalkeeper Alvaro Txartiko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Deportivo de Coba's Norberto Giro got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 10 minutes, Florentino Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo de Coba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Dominix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Florentino Dominix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Txartiko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Deportivo de Coba's Tomás Pepillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Gergori in the 21st minute of play. Alvaro Txartiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Dominix in the 28th minute. Florentino Dominix might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Txartiko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Dominix ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Txartiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Dominix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Ruy hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Florentino Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo de Coba's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Dominix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Txartiko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Deportivo de Coba booed when Rayos GDL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Vincent didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Deportivo de Coba fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Deportivo de Coba's Florentino Dominix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florentino Dominix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Dominix in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Txartiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florentino Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ambrosio Lobo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Lobo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Rayos GDL got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Lobo. If Florentino Dominix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Claudio Frasquito in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo de Coba's Vicente Guerau. Florentino Dominix might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Txartiko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Dominix ran back to his position shaking his head. Florentino Dominix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Txartiko having to interfere. Claudio Frasquito kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Alvaro Txartiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 79 played minutes Rayos GDL got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Frasquito. After 84 played minutes Rayos GDL got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Frasquito. Claudio Frasquito's late challenge caught a Deportivo de Coba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Frasquito helped the player get up and apologised. The audience held their breath when Justo Ranolfo in the 89th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Alvaro Txartiko's left hand side. Alvaro Txartiko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Dominix's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Deportivo de Coba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
