Blas Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Olo in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Norberto Jusepe got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Ilazki came free, but Blas Estevez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Agustin Ilazki was slow to take the kick. During this time The Special One's players had a chance to rest. In the 17thth minute of the game Desiderio Olo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Blas Estevez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Evangelista in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Numan Ünalp saved The Special One from getting behind. Mete Verga hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Honorio Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Special One's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Afonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Estevez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mete Verga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Estevez having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Mete Verga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Special One's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mete Verga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Blas Estevez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Olo in the 36th minute of play. Jorge Cordario hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The supporters of The Special One booed when Los Muñes de Don Cuco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Enol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Olivar Fabeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blas Estevez skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Olo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Cordario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ali Numan Ünalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Jusepe hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, The Special One's Desiderio Olo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 76 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Blas Estevez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Verga. 78 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Stålhammar came free, but Blas Estevez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Candido Estevon suffered a concussion in the 83rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field.
