Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Orestes Football Club's Erubiel Remicio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Björn Vanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Remicio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MEXICO getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jacobo Gutierrez hit a great ball. Björn Vanek acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Serafino Mano. After 19 played minutes Orestes Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Justo Ugaitz. Mauro Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Gaitan in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Gaston Rosio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MEXICO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Rosio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauro Filipo came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by MEXICO's Gaston Rosio. But to his dismay, Gaston Rosio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Jon in the 32nd minute of play forced Orestes Football Club's goalkeeper Mauro Filipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes MEXICO got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Tibalt. Serafino Mano kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. MEXICO's Honorato Gaitan got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Americo Jon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Filipo. Orestes Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Americo Jon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of MEXICO booed when Orestes Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Remicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaston Rosio to make the kick off. With a little luck, Orestes Football Club's Mauro Filipo got control of the ball when Salvador Tibalt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Indartsu Vega during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mauro Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Tibalt in the 62nd minute of play. Mauro Filipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Tibalt in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Orestes Football Club booed when MEXICO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Jon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Orestes Football Club's goalkeeper Mauro Filipo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ildefonso Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Filipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Eladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, MEXICO's Eusebio Bazil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauro Filipo. Mauro Filipo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Nicanor Roano hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Honorato Gaitan, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mauro Filipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Eladio in the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MEXICO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
