Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dennys Pimentel made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th match minute, Southbourne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selvin Bautista to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Fuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Edgardo Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennys Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Ayala having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Dennys Pimentel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birkdale's Gilberto Ayala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dennys Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gilberto Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Birkdale's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Mora came free, but Gilberto Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennys Pimentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fabio Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennys Pimentel in the 42nd minute of play forced Birkdale's goalkeeper Gilberto Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgardo Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. Selvin Bautista kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Rudy Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Mora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Gilberto Ayala made a huge save. In the 64th minute Dennys Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Birkdale's Gilberto Ayala got control of the ball when Fabio Mora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gilberto Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennys Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Southbourne AFC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Southbourne AFC's Fabio Mora looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Birkdale getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Alvaro Melendez hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Rudy Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Edgardo Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Birkdale defense, Dennys Pimentel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Ayala. The Birkdale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Ayala should have stopped the shot. After 93 played minutes Southbourne AFC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Rivas. A collision led to Southbourne AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Humberto Rivas hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudy Barreto in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgardo Santana saved Southbourne AFC from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
