Raúl Guevara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Clitheroe's zone, Erick Brizuela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Prado came out of the goal and Erick Brizuela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st match minute, Bristol Centre United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Machado to maneuver through the defense. If Félix Hurtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bristol Centre United's goalkeeper Diego Posadas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Diego Posadas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odir Melendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Clitheroe's Odir Melendez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diego Posadas. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. Giovani Galeas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Odir Melendez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Machado during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luis Machado hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Odir Melendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Posadas having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Odir Melendez in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Posadas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luis Machado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. Bristol Centre United's supporters rose to their feet, but Raúl Guevara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Prado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Posadas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Félix Hurtado went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Félix Hurtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Odir Melendez scored 3-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Posadas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Posadas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Félix Hurtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Odir Melendez sped through Bristol Centre United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diego Posadas. Diego Posadas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Félix Hurtado in the 95th minute of the match.
