Eston's Dagoberto Renderos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Pinho in the 26th minute of play. Gilberto Pinho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Henry Dubon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 31 played minutes Eston got a freekick which was hit by Sarbelio Posadas. Allan Montes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dagoberto Renderos. Eston's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eston's Shawn Granados got a free kick in the 34th minute. Dagoberto Renderos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Misael Huezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Gilberto Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Dubon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alvaro Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eston's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Dubon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 minutes, Shawn Granados mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eston and the Hickling FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Eston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shawn Granados to maneuver through the defense. The Hickling FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Dubon should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, one of Eston:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eston. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Alvaro Ortiz sped through Hickling FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henry Dubon. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eston's goalkeeper Dagoberto Renderos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute of the match Odir Espindola shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Dubon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Gilberto Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Hickling FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Ortiz came free, but Henry Dubon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dagoberto Renderos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Saul Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Renderos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
