Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 13thth minute of the game Edgar Braun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wizards Kansas City's Carlos Najarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudio Cabrera struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Oscar Molina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wizards Kansas City. Edgar Braun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jhalmar Zelaya hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Elias Larios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Wizards Kansas City got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Díaz. Alejandro Hurtado shot from long distance in the 35th minute, but Carlos Najarro was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Jairo Rosales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Najarro having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Mount Hawke AFC's Carlos Najarro threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgar Braun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Wizards Kansas City's zone, Jairo Rosales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Najarro came out of the goal and Jairo Rosales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Najarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Braun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Wizards Kansas City booed when Mount Hawke AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Menjivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Braun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Rosales in the 56th minute of play forced Wizards Kansas City's goalkeeper Carlos Najarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Najarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Rosales in the 60th minute of play. If Elias Larios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Hurtado hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Wizards Kansas City's Elias Larios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Molina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Wizards Kansas City's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Braun came free, but Carlos Najarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes Wizards Kansas City got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Flamenco. Ladislao Mena hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Wizards Kansas City got a freekick which was hit by Jhalmar Zelaya. If Claudio Cabrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Elias Larios came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Wizards Kansas City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Larios couldn't finish the play. Oscar Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Wizards Kansas City's Carlos Najarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Rosales in the 84th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jhalmar Zelaya during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alejandro Hurtado, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Mount Hawke AFC's Oscar Molina got control of the ball when Elias Larios tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Mount Hawke AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wizards Kansas City:s goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mount Hawke AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wizards Kansas City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
