The audience was convinced that Ismael Braun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Murgas was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Braun made a kick off. After 85 played minutes, Sudbury AFC's Giovani Aguirrez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abraham Benavides came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sudbury AFC reached it. The supporters of Plumstead City booed when Sudbury AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Flamenco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes Pablo Menjivar shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Sudbury AFC's Victor Murgas to catch but Pablo Menjivar was lucky. It became 1-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After a rather tough play, Plumstead City's Joselito Gallardo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Plumstead City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
