Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mauro Lovo started the match with the kick off. Emerson Guardado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Braun in the 4th minute of play. Hugo Erazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Braun struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Emerson Guardado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plumstead City. Ruben Salinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Benavides having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Whitton City's goalkeeper Emerson Guardado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Erazo. 1-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Hugo Erazo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cristian Barraza's late challenge caught a Plumstead City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Barraza helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Barraza hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Paolo Osorio missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 29 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Emerson Guardado right hand side. Mauro Lovo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Alvarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abraham Benavides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonio Alvarez ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Lovo in the 38th minute of play forced Plumstead City's goalkeeper Abraham Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ismael Braun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Ismael Braun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emerson Guardado. The goal made the score 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Braun was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Plumstead City's zone, Ruben Salinas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abraham Benavides came out of the goal and Ruben Salinas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Erazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Whitton City's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Braun came free, but Emerson Guardado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Whitton City's Ruben Salinas got a free kick in the 58th minute. Mauro Lovo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abraham Benavides came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauro Lovo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 62nd minute. In the 71st minute Hugo Erazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Guardado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Osorio's late challenge caught a Whitton City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Osorio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Whitton City booed when Plumstead City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Osorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emerson Guardado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Osorio in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Jonathan Ramirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Paolo Osorio got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 83 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Ruben Salinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Whitton City's Mauro Lovo in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Plumstead City's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Plumstead City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
