Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcos Sosa kicked off to start the match. Arnoldo Mejia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Pinho having to interfere. In the 10th minute Alexander Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Mejia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th match minute, Brompton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Mendoza to maneuver through the defense. Franklin Erazo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Primitivo Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Verdolaga. Brompton's Gilberto Reyes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Verdolaga. If Richard Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Mejia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Primitivo Pinho. Brompton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnoldo Mejia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Osorio to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Verdolaga's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Medrano came free, but Esteban Medrano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander Rodriguez hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Verdolaga getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alberto Reyes hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Brompton's Gilberto Reyes got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Richard Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Mejia in the 66th minute. Arnoldo Mejia in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Primitivo Pinho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristian Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Medrano having to interfere. When Arnoldo Mejia came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC Verdolaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Mejia couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Brompton's zone, Richard Osorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Pinho came out of the goal and Richard Osorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Richard Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Verdolaga's Richard Osorio fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Arnoldo Mejia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Pinho having to interfere. Primitivo Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Arnoldo Mejias short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Primitivo Pinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristian Medrano hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Brompton's zone, Arnoldo Mejia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Pinho came out of the goal and Arnoldo Mejia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Richard Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Alvarenga in the 94th minute of play forced FC Verdolaga's goalkeeper Esteban Medrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded FC Verdolaga left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Brompton.
