Antonio Galeas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Santamaria having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Edgardo Amaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Santamaria was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Humberto Campos. In the 12th minute, Oswaldo Erazo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14thth minute of the game Jaime Rojas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Ash Green United's David Santamaria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Crystal Palace FC booed when New Ash Green United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Amaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, New Ash Green United's goalkeeper David Santamaria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Rico. Jaime Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Santamaria having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Hugo Rico could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which David Santamaria however easily saved by the left post. Hugo Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Galeas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jaime Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Santamaria having to interfere. Jaime Rojas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Santamaria having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Felipe Espindola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in New Ash Green United's zone, Jaime Rojas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Santamaria came out of the goal and Jaime Rojas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Palencia in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Crystal Palace FC's Jaime Hernández got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Marcos Palencia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Castaneda hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in New Ash Green United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! New Ash Green United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Humberto Campos scored to the left of an out of position David Santamaria, making the score, 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Rojas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Hugo Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Santamaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Marcos Palencia rounded Crystal Palace FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Hugo Rico's late challenge caught a New Ash Green United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Rico helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Crystal Palace FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Rico. If Antonio Galeas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Crystal Palace FC's Leonel Rico got control of the ball when Antonio Galeas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Crystal Palace FC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Crystal Palace FC's Hugo Rico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hugo Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crystal Palace FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
