Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wilmer Canales made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Sedgley's goalkeeper Yasir Peredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Flores. Yasir Peredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Flores in the 9th minute. If Ismael Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilmer Canales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yasir Peredes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilmer Canales in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yasir Peredes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Wilmer Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilmer Canales received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yasir Peredes came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilmer Canales slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. Yasir Peredes made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when David Flores sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 30 minutes, Ismael Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sedgley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hawkcombe's goalkeeper Mario Prado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexander Castillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Prado having to interfere. Mario Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Cortez in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilmer Canales in the 42nd minute of play forced Sedgley's goalkeeper Yasir Peredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sedgley booed when Hawkcombe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selvin Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilmer Canales struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Yasir Peredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hawkcombe. In the 71st minute, Alexander Castillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hawkcombe's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ismael Cortez 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Franklin Paredes charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Paredes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Wilmer Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hawkcombe's Wilmer Canales got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sedgley's zone, David Flores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yasir Peredes came out of the goal and David Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If David Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sedgley's Ismael Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexander Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mario Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hawkcombe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sedgley's performance. The match ended with a win for Sedgley.
