Saul Umanzor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Prado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Gilberto Dubon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Flores in the 19th minute of play. Saul Umanzor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mario Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Flores couldn't finish the play. Mario Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quinton United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Umanzor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
