An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Hinguanzo in the 6th minute of play forced Diss's goalkeeper Sarbelio Castaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Hinguanzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jorge Barquero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sarbelio Castaneda was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yasir Mendoza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Carlos Palencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamín Rojas in the 22nd minute of play forced Marden's goalkeeper Yasir Mendoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diss's Sarbelio Castaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Barquero in the 24th minute of play. Jorge Barquero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sarbelio Castaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When %teams%'s Jorge Barquero was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 31 minutes into the game. Sarbelio Castaneda was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. If Antonio Leguizamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Yasir Mendoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Castillo in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Marden booed when Diss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Bentos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Max Lara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Diss's Sarbelio Castaneda didn't even have to move. In the 61st minute Hugo Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yasir Mendoza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Leguizamon kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Diss's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Hinguanzo came free, but Sarbelio Castaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Marden's Yasir Mendoza got control of the ball when Benjamín Rojas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Barquero struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Rafael Salguero, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Carlos Palencia fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marden's protests and gave Carlos Palencia a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Palencia hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Hugo Castillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Marden's Richard Lovo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
