The audience was convinced that Francisco Corrales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Odir Cruz was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. When Fidel Brizuela came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Easingwold United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Brizuela couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Easingwold United's Max Villatoro got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 14 played minutes Easingwold United got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Salinas. In the 24th match minute, Easingwold United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Victorino to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 26 minutes, Jhalmar Hernández managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thame United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jhalmar Hernández was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Dennys Gutierrez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jhonnatan Noyola. Thame United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennys Gutierrez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Adolfo Salinas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Fidel Brizuela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Easingwold United's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Brizuela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jhonnatan Noyola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fidel Brizuela struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jhonnatan Noyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Easingwold United. When Francisco Corrales came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Thame United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Corrales couldn't finish the play. Nelson Zapata might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Odir Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nelson Zapata ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Corrales stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Francisco Corrales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Corrales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennys Gutierrez in the 58th minute of play forced Thame United's goalkeeper Jhonnatan Noyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jhalmar Hernández had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Corrales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odir Cruz having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Edgardo Hurtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Dennys Gutierrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jhalmar Hernández recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Odir Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhalmar Hernández, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Jhalmar Hernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odir Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennys Gutierrez in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jhonnatan Noyola, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 95th minute Nelson Zapata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odir Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thame United's Jhonnatan Noyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennys Gutierrez in the 97th minute of play. Easingwold United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Thame United had controlled the match.
