If Andrés Vinosis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zelvin Suarez's late challenge caught a Pershore's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zelvin Suarez helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Newton on Ouse got a freekick which was hit by Zelvin Suarez. Misael Serrano charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Misael Serrano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Newton on Ouse getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Misael Serrano hit a great ball. Alexander Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Ruiz having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Medina came free, but Max Ruiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Medina in the 21st minute of play forced Newton on Ouse's goalkeeper Max Ruiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Bustamante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Ruiz having to interfere. Misael Serrano got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Newton on Ouse getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Misael Serrano hit a great ball. Max Ruiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Newton on Ouse's Max Ruiz got control of the ball when Adolfo Bustamante tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 40 played minutes Pershore got a freekick which was hit by William Ayala. Newton on Ouse's Alexis Pacheco got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexis Pacheco was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Newton on Ouse got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Gallardo. Adolfo Bustamante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Max Ruiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Medina came free, but Max Ruiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match, Alexis Pacheco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roberto Carrillo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Max Ruiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Medina in the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Selvin Zepeda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Carrillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Alexis Pacheco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adolfo Bustamante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexis Pacheco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Carrillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Alexis Pacheco took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Roberto Carrillo to make any attempt to save it. The Newton on Ouse players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
