Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Angel Fornos got the match started through his kick off. Yeovil FC's Emerson Leguizamon got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Redruth's Adolfo Escalante in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yeovil FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rolando Menjivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Escalante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Ovidio Galdamez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ovidio Galdamez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Galdamez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Christian Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Galdamez might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Bermudez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidio Galdamez ran back to his position shaking his head. Benji Baptista's late challenge caught a Redruth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benji Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Rudy Corrales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Galdamez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Bermudez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Emerson Leguizamon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Galdamez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Redruth's Orlando Mora got a free kick in the 41st minute. Yeovil FC's Ovidio Galdamez got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Yeovil FC's Emerson Leguizamon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Bermudez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0.

The wind increased when Ovidio Galdamez made the kick off in the second half. Emerson Leguizamon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson Leguizamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Bermudez having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Redruth's Adolfo Escalante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Menjivar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Redruth booed when Yeovil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Corrales didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd play minute Adolfo Escalante came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rolando Menjivar. 1-1. Angel Fornos struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Rolando Menjivar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redruth. Adolfo Escalante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rolando Menjivar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Orlando Mora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rolando Menjivar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Angel Fornos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Menjivar was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Christian Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Leguizamon in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Yeovil FC's Benji Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Bermudez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Ovidio Galdamez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chants of Redruth echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Yeovil FC had held the ball for most of the match.
