Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Atherstone's Edgar Garay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Yeovil FC's zone, Edgar Garay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Menjivar came out of the goal and Edgar Garay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benji Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Emerson Leguizamon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Arturo Ocampo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Edgar Garay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando Menjivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Garay in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yeovil FC's goalkeeper Rolando Menjivar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Atherstone booed when Yeovil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benji Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Edgar Garay sped through Yeovil FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Menjivar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The corner ended in Camilo Gomez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atherstone's Arturo Ocampo did a great save. In the 57th minute, Fidel Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Camilo Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Ocampo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joselito Gallardo's late challenge caught a Yeovil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joselito Gallardo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Atherstone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joselito Gallardo to maneuver through the defense. Deris Vinosis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rolando Menjivar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Galdamez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Ocampo having to interfere. When Atherstone's Edgar Garay in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yeovil FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ovidio Galdamez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Ocampo came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Yeovil FC's Ricardo Rivera. But to his dismay, Ricardo Rivera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Ovidio Galdamez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Deris Vinosis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atherstone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deris Vinosis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Garay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Menjivar having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atherstone players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yeovil FC.
