Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Primitivo Lara started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Angel Fornos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Redruth booed when Sudbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarbelio Cerritos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Oporto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Fornos in the 10th minute of play. If Adolfo Escalante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Christian Bermudez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Adolfo Escalante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Primitivo Lara had several of the Redruth's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Christian Bermudez as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Ramirez got free with Christian Bermudez in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Odir Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Redruth getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Orlando Mora hit a great ball. If Gabriel Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sudbury's Gabriel Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Primitivo Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sudbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Escalante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Oporto having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Fornos to make the kick off. Emiliano Oporto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Fornos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Sudbury's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Fornos came free, but Emiliano Oporto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Lara in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute Sudbury were awarded a corner. Sarbelio Cerritos went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Sarbelio Cerritos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Bermudez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Christian Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Christian Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sudbury's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
