A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Horfield's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Ochoa came free, but Carmelo Muñoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Muñoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marvin Meza's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Jairo Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Sifon having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Benjamín Cetino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristian Sifon, 1-0. Mauro Pedrozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Sifon having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Rawmarsh's Marvin Meza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carmelo Muñoz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mauro Pedrozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Muñoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marvin Meza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marvin Meza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Muñoz having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The wind increased when Marvin Meza made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Horfield's goalkeeper Carmelo Muñoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Ochoa. Jorge Ochoa spun around in front of the goal 53 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Horfield's goal. In the 54th match minute, Horfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamín Cetino to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Ochoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Carmelo Muñoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sifon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Pedrozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Mauro Pedrozo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Sifon having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Marvin Meza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sifon came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Horfield's Jairo Moreno. But to his dismay, Jairo Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Rawmarsh's zone, Mauro Pedrozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Sifon came out of the goal and Mauro Pedrozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jairo Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cristian Sifon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rawmarsh's zone, Mauro Pedrozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Sifon came out of the goal and Mauro Pedrozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horfield's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
