The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Arundel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Liborio to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Zaldaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Flores in the 4th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Arundel's goal looked a bit too open when Marvin Meza came free, but Rafael Zaldaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Jorge Ochoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rafael Zaldaña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute, Rene Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Zepeda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Sifon having to interfere. Cristian Sifon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Benavides in the 28th minute of the match. Cristian Sifon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Benavides in the 29th minute of play. Rafael Zaldaña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marvin Meza's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rawmarsh's goalkeeper Cristian Sifon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sifon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Zepeda in the 38th minute of the match. Cristian Sifon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Benavides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Benavides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Rawmarsh's Cristian Sifon got control of the ball when Emiliano Henriquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Jorge Ochoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marvin Meza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Benavides in the 58th minute of play forced Rawmarsh's goalkeeper Cristian Sifon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Fuentes charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Fuentes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rawmarsh's Rene Fuentes got a free kick in the 58th minute. Edgardo Zepeda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Cristian Sifon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Arundel fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Arundel's Edgardo Zepeda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Cristian Sifon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Arundel players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rawmarsh from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
