Rene Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Efrain Aguilar made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Cruz. Bromyard City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Arturo García charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo García the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Bromyard City got a freekick which was hit by Arturo García. David Palma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Richard Asad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Arturo García's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Asad was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Richard Asad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Palma in the 20th minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Horfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Guerrero. After having played for 27 minutes, Arturo García managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bromyard City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo García was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Rene Guerrero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 31st match minute, Horfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Meza to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efrain Aguilar in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Asad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Palma's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efrain Aguilar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arturo García sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Arturo García could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Richard Asad however easily saved by the left post. David Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Horfield FC's Richard Asad got control of the ball when Arturo García tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antonio Boianelli's late challenge caught a Bromyard City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Boianelli helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Horfield FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Antonio Boianelli hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Efrain Aguilar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bromyard City's Augusto Cruz. Augusto Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th match minute, Horfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Meza to maneuver through the defense. When Bromyard City's David Palma in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Arturo García had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Asad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Palma's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Horfield FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Bromyard City for much of the match.
