The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Sarbelio Villatoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonathan Galdamez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Libardo Lima made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ruben Guzman sent off a good shot on target. If Sarbelio Villatoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Woodley booed when Micklefield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrés Del Carmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Sarbelio Villatoro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woodley's Jonathan Galdamez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Woodley's Jonathan Galdamez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sarbelio Villatoro in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Micklefield were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Osorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Fidel Osorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Libardo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 61 minutes of play, Woodley's Fabio Magaña made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Libardo Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 68 played minutes Woodley got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Ochoa. Micklefield's Libardo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Guzman in the 71st minute of play. Libardo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Guzman in the 74th minute of the match. Henry Chavez charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Chavez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Micklefield's Henry Chavez got a free kick in the 75th minute. Fabio Magaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Chavez got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Woodley booed when Micklefield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Chavez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Libardo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Micklefield's Libardo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Magaña in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Ruben Guzman made a precise shot to the right of Libardo Lima. Micklefield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Libardo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Magaña in the 97th minute of the match. Woodley's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
