Ladislao Leiva charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Wickford booed when Egremont City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Leiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Januario Villarreal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Milton Lozano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Marcos Palencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milton Lozano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Januario Villarreal made a precise shot to the right of Milton Lozano. Egremont City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Januario Villarreal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egremont City's Milton Lozano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Wilber Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egremont City's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilber Villanueva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odir Gallardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Brizuela in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odir Gallardo saved Wickford from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Jorge Noyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milton Lozano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Canales in the 35th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Ronald Brizuela rounded Wickford's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The supporters of Egremont City booed when Wickford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deris Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 45 in the game by Wilber Villanueva from a close distance when the talented Odir Gallardo managed to make a qualified save. Wickford's players were relieved. After 53 played minutes Wickford got a freekick which was hit by David Canales. Egremont City's Wilber Villanueva suffered a sprained foot after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wickford fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Andrés Lima placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Ronald Brizuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Jorge Noyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egremont City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Noyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Januario Villarreal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Milton Lozano made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Palencia in the 70th minute of play forced Egremont City's goalkeeper Milton Lozano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Wickford's Januario Villarreal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Milton Lozano. Milton Lozano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ronald Brizuela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egremont City's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Brizuela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odir Gallardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wickford's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
