Marcelo Guerra's late challenge caught a Ipplepen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Guerra helped the player get up and apologised. Marcelo Guerra hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Milton Lozano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Bentos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jhalmar Dubon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Brizuela in the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ipplepen's Rafael Salguero got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ronald Brizuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oscar Medina hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Yasir Palma shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jhalmar Dubon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Talia in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milton Lozano saved Egremont City from getting behind. Enrique Bentos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Bentos in the 31st minute of play forced Egremont City's goalkeeper Milton Lozano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronald Brizuela was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Egremont City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilber Villanueva got free with Jhalmar Dubon in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ronald Brizuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, William Talia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Milton Lozano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Agustin Padilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ipplepen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Egremont City's Milton Lozano got control of the ball when Enrique Bentos tried to sneak it across the goal line. William Talia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Lozano having to interfere. Mariano Navarro's late challenge caught a Ipplepen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Navarro helped the player get up and apologised. Mariano Navarro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. William Talia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milton Lozano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Talia's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Emerson Umanzor kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Ipplepen's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Brizuela came free, but Jhalmar Dubon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Talia in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milton Lozano saved Egremont City from getting behind. 81 minutes into the game, Egremont City's Ronald Brizuela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jhalmar Dubon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 90th minute Wilber Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jhalmar Dubon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Rafael Salguero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipplepen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egremont City the free kick. Jhalmar Dubon came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Egremont City's Jorge Noyola. But to his dismay, Jorge Noyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
