The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zelvin Navas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milton Collado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Paz in the 11th minute of the match. Zelvin Navas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Milton Collado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Harold Hill's Joselito Aguirrez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Redruth's goalkeeper Francisco Orellana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elias Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Espindola hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Paz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Harold Hill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joselito Aguirrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
