Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ulises Paz made the kick off which started today's match. Ulises Paz might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Orozco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulises Paz ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Reyes in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Orellana saved Redruth from getting behind. Francisco Orellana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Reyes in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Ulises Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Orellana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Moreira's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Redruth's Rene Espindola got a free kick in the 21st minute. Francisco Orellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Malvern AFC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Velis. Gabriel Orozco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alvaro Escalante. If Ulises Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Ulises Paz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Malvern AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Erick Talia hit a great ball. Rene Espindola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Orozco having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Reyes was the one to do the kick off. Francisco Orellana made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Manuel Moreira sent off a good shot on target. Waldir Orozco hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Francisco Orellana made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Manuel Moreira sent off a good shot on target. Ulises Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gabriel Orozco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Zelvin Navas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redruth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zelvin Navas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Ulises Paz put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Orozco. Gabriel Orozco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zelvin Navas in the 84th minute of play. Malvern AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
