Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Danilo Galdamez made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the game, Fabio Benavides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Whitley Bay United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frinton the free kick. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Whitley Bay United! Deris Meza placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Manuel Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Gallardo in the 13th minute of play forced Whitley Bay United's goalkeeper William Najarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Patricio Ayala came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Whitley Bay United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Ayala couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Whitley Bay United booed when Frinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Chavez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Frinton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Pinho to maneuver through the defense. William Najarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Gallardo in the 24th minute of play. Manuel Gallardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Najarro having to interfere. Danilo Galdamez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Benjamín Mena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Galdamez succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Frinton's Eliseo Pinho got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute, Victorino Umaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Manuel Gallardo made the kick off in the second half. Sarbelio Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. William Najarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frinton. 59 minutes into the match, Danilo Galdamez notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Frinton's Benjamín Mena. Benjamín Mena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patricio Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Whitley Bay United's goalkeeper William Najarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Frinton's Manuel Gallardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Najarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sarbelio Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th play minute Sarbelio Fernandez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised William Najarro. 2-1. Frinton's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Whitley Bay United had won, even though Frinton had held more of the ball.
