In the 9th minute Esteban Cetino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Uranga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Padiham AFC's zone, Henry Castillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deris Cruz came out of the goal and Henry Castillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Rivera kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Esteban Cetino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Cetino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Uranga having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Henry Castillo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Deris Cruz. In the 44th minute, Henry Castillo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Deris Cruz came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Farnham's Claudio Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Claudio Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteban Cetino to make the kick off. Henry Castillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Farnham's Milton Corpeño got a free kick in the 60th minute. Esteban Cetino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Salvador Uranga came out and tried to block the shot, but Esteban Cetino slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 61st minute. Francisco Murgas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Uranga having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Salvador Uranga, was totally fooled by Padiham AFC's Douglas Barreto, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Salvador Uranga was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Francisco Murgas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francisco Murgas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. If Claudio Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deris Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Uranga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Cetino's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Agustin Bonilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Salvador Uranga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Murgas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Esteban Cetino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Uranga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Murgas in the 95th minute. Francisco Murgas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Uranga having to interfere. Padiham AFC played a much better game than Farnham and deserved their victory. The Farnham players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
